TASK
Turn my love for Spotify and impatience for their annual Wrapped campaign each December into a 2024 lay out for the campaign.
STRATEGY
Utilize the popularity of Astrology in culture and its connection to both a calendar year and its ability to tell you more about yourself
EXECUTION
“Using the astrological I highlighted the usual categories of most listened to artists, genres, and songs. Beyond these categories of pure data collection, Spotify has historically created new subcategories each year, including “listening location” and “audio aura”, and in this year I created “Song Signs“ and “Spotify’s Reading“. Song Signs is a listener horoscope using the signs of the zodiac and listening types to group ones style into a personalized sign that they can relate to their friends. Spotify reading is a tarot card segment that would describes a listener’s habits over the past, present, and future, and provides connecting to a the cards meanings.
